Anonymous Alerts Helps Students Play a Role in Campus Safety

In the interest of our students’ wellbeing, Magnolia ISD employs the Anonymous Alerts® program at each of its junior high and high school campuses in an effort to empower students to report bullying, drug use, or other personal safety concerns. All reports are completely anonymous and will be sent directly to school administrators, although students have the option to reveal their identity if they prefer to have a person-to-person discussion.

The mobile apps and web-based reporting system provide secure, one-way or two-way text messaging between the student and school administrator. To submit a report, the student must select a campus and campus administrator, then select the incident and explain what happened. Students also have the option to add a photo or screenshot to the report. The system will be monitored during school days between the hours of 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
