3 MJH 8th Graders Win NJHS Outstanding Achievement Award

The National Junior Honor Society Outstanding Achievement Award (OAA) recognizes students who have demonstrated excellent work in supporting the National Junior Honor Society's five pillars: scholarship, leadership, character, citizenship, and service. Students who receive the Outstanding Achievement Award are individuals committed to learning and continuous growth in learning; seeking out meaningful and engaging ways to serve their community and school; taking responsibility for their actions and participation in school and community activities; building their character to reflect understanding and compassion, and building strength and unity in their community and school community.
This award provides winners with national recognition and scholarships for their future college plans, and MJH is extremely proud that Faith, Jessie, and Melanie have each earned this prestigious honor.
